Marlborough, MA

Marlborough is a city in Middlesex county, Massachusetts.

In the 1650’s. several families left nearby town of Sudbury to start a new town, a village named Marlborough after the market town in England one of seven “Praying Indian Towns” because of conversion to Christianity by The Rev. John Eliot.

Marlborough became a favorite rest stop on the Boston Post Road.Many travelers stopped at its inns and taverns, including George Washington, after his inauguration in 1789

The present population is approximately 37,000Major routes of #496 and #290 access the town plus much secondary highway access, making this town desirable for major commercial and hi-tech growth.
