"Character is like a tree, and reputation is like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing."
Southborough, MA
Southborough is a quiet pastoral community with reservoirs, these bodies of water and the aqueduct represent a major turning point in this town’s history. The taking of 2000 acres of land for construction in the late 1800’s changed the character of Southborough’s four villages.
The premier establishment of the town from the mid 1800’s was the Burnett family founding St. Mark’s Church, St. Mark’s School and the Fay School as well as Deerfoot Farms.
Southborough’s location is ideal for commuters to Boston.
